The May Dip

One of the crazy St Andrews traditions.

This one takes places at the crack of Dawn on the first morning of May, when everyone rushes into the frigid waters of the North Sea. Some people camp on the shores all night to wait for the dawn.  I ran in with a friend as the pictures show and drenched my self into the cold and salty sea water. you actually get more surprised by the salt than by the cold! It was fun and definitely worth it!
