Christmas Ball

The St Andrews Christmas Ball.
It was held at Kinkell Byre a large, charming barn, outside of St Andrews.

This is the most reasonably priced out of all the Balls at St Andrews and arguably the best. For these reasons its also the most in demand and tickets sell out early. My friends stood in line for three hours in the cold (and light snow) to get these tickets.
It was worth it in the end. The pictures show my night from us getting ready and taking prom style pictures till the end of the dancing in the night.
As you can see, the decorations were lovely and there were other areas of the event that I didn't get a chance to take pictures of. They included Santa's Grotto and two other smaller dance floors. We got a complimentary glass of Bubbly and a gingerbread cookie when we entered. There were other eats there as well and three other bars around the place. There were live bands to play alternated by recorded music. The UK Christmas classics like 'Fairytale of New York' and 'Merry Christmas Everybody' played as well as other non Christmas songs. I danced till my feet hurt! And had a great time through it all.
